Religious services and religious rites

From 9 August, public religious services and rites with up to 50 participants may be held in places of worship and the 50 per cent occupancy requirement must be taken into account. It is not required to verify the infection safety of the people attending religious services; however, regardless of the number of participants, a mask must be worn indoors, requirement for dispersal must be taken into account, and the place of worship must comply with disinfection requirements and other measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The exception does not apply to church concerts, which are subject to general event requirements. This means that if there are more than 50 participants indoors, the infection safety of the participants must be verified.
